EMAT – electromagnetic-acoustic transducer for transmitting and receiving the shear-horizontal ultrasonic waves
An electro-magnetic acoustic transducer S7694 for the couplant-free transmitting and receiving shear-horizontal ultrasonic waves can be used for thickness measurements by A1270 EMAT.
